Conjunction helps venues and organizers connect, confirm event details, and coordinate bookings. To operate the service, we process limited contact, event, and operational information. We do not sell personal information and do not use data for third-party advertising.

1. Information We Collect

Account & Contact Information

Names, roles, business names, email addresses, phone numbers, and related contact details provided by venues, organizers, or community hosts.

Event & Operations Information

Information related to hosting and coordinating events, including availability windows, formats, capacity, constraints, event terms, and scheduling or operational communications. This may include communications exchanged in shared coordination channels such as WhatsApp, SMS, or similar tools used to manage event logistics.

Attendee Information (Provided by Organizers or Communities)

Names and contact details of attendees when shared by organizers for event coordination or optional event-related follow-ups, where required consent has been provided.

POS and Event Performance Data (From Venues)

Venues may provide point-of-sale or attendance data limited to the event window for the purpose of generating post-event insights. Conjunction does not collect cardholder data. POS data is used only in aggregate or de-identified form and is not used to identify individual guests.

Payments

Payments are processed by third-party payment processors such as Stripe. Conjunction receives limited billing information such as payment status and subscription details.

Device & Usage Information

Basic analytics such as pages viewed, referrers, browser type, and device information collected through standard analytics tools.

Support Communications

Information you send through emails, forms, or feedback submissions.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Operate the Service: Match venues and organizers, coordinate introductions, support bookings, manage deposits where applicable, and facilitate scheduling.
  • Communicate: Send confirmations, operational updates, and service-related notices.
  • Insights: Prepare basic post-event summaries for venues and improve overall matching and service quality.
  • Routing & Recommendations: Route event requests and recommend potential matches within the Conjunction network.
  • Compliance & Security: Enforce our Terms of Service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
  • Improve the Service: Analyze usage trends to refine features and operations.

3. Sharing of Information

We may share information with:

  • Service Providers who perform services on our behalf (e.g., payments, communications, hosting, analytics) under contractual confidentiality obligations.
  • Event Counterparties (venues, organizers, or communities involved in the same event), limited to information reasonably necessary to coordinate that event.
  • Authorities or Advisors when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Conjunction and its users.

We do not sell personal information and do not share personal or event data for third-party advertising or data brokerage.

4. Legal Bases (EU/UK Visitors)

For visitors in the EU or UK, we process personal data based on one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and improving the service, consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as necessary to operate the service and meet legitimate business or legal requirements. Data is deleted or de-identified in accordance with our retention practices when no longer needed.

6. Your Choices & Rights

You may opt out of marketing communications at any time. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or object to certain processing of your personal information.

Requests may be submitted to privacy@conjunction.co. We may require identity verification.

California residents may exercise rights under the CPRA. Conjunction does not sell personal information.

EU/UK residents may also contact their local data protection authority.

7. International Transfers

Information may be processed in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13 (or older where local law requires). If you believe a child's information has been collected, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Third-Party Links

Our service may link to third-party websites or tools. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
