Summary

We help venues and communities connect, confirm bookings, and review basic post-event results. To do that, we process contact and event information. We do not sell personal information.

1. Information We Collect

Account & Contact

Names, roles, emails, phone numbers, business details.

Event & Operations

Availability windows, format, capacity, constraints, event terms, scheduling and operational communications (including in shared threads).

Attendees (from Communities)

Names and contact details when organizers share them for coordination and optional follow-ups (opt-in required where applicable).

POS Data (from Venues)

POS data limited to the event window to generate post-event insights. Conjunction does not collect cardholder data.

Payments

Processed by Stripe; we receive limited billing metadata (e.g., status).

Device & Usage

Basic analytics (e.g., pages viewed, referrers, browser/device).

Support

Emails, forms, and feedback you send us.

2. How We Use Information

  • Operate the Service: Matching, introductions, booking support, deposits, scheduling.
  • Communicate: Confirmations, operational updates, and service notices.
  • Insights: Prepare basic post-event snapshots for the Venue and improve matching.
  • Compliance & Security: Enforce Terms, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations.
  • Improve the Service: Analyze usage to refine features and operations.

3. Sharing

We share information with:

  • Service Providers (e.g., payment, communications, storage, analytics) under contract
  • Counterparties to the same event (limited to what's necessary to operate the event)
  • Authorities where required by law or to protect rights and safety

We do not sell personal information and do not share attendee lists for third-party advertising.

4. Legal Bases (EU/UK Visitors)

We rely on legitimate interests (operate and improve the Service), contract performance (subscriptions, bookings), consent (where required), and legal obligations (tax, accounting).

5. Retention

We keep data only as long as needed to operate the Service and for legitimate business/legal purposes, then delete or de-identify it per our retention practices.

6. Your Choices & Rights

You may unsubscribe from marketing at any time. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or object/restrict certain processing.

California residents may exercise CPRA rights. Conjunction does not sell personal information.

EU/UK residents may contact their data protection authority.

7. International Transfers

We may process data in the United States and other countries. When transferring internationally, we use appropriate safeguards as required by law.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or older where local law requires). If you believe we collected a child's data, contact us to delete it.

10. Third-Party Links

Third-party sites and tools we link to have their own terms and privacy practices.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy. If changes are material, we will update the date above and, when reasonable, notify subscribers. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
